KohSamed ( Samed Island )

            KohSamed is a large island about 5,275 rai. The most area is a mountain rang cover by Coconut gardens. In history,This island was a Japan soldier camp, a tourists can see an air raid shelter on a hills between  Aom resort road and Armaments pier around Rham Sai. On a back of village, you can take a boat for driving see a coral reef at KohLawa,KohMuntra and kohKajil. They are the best of island should go for driving to see a coral reef.

             KohSamed islanders have an area free alcohol principles together. KohSamed received a flag and plate rewards of the best of clean area from alcohol to 100 % . They aren’t drinking any alcohol and a tourists are not allow to drinking any alcohol on this island also. In front of a pier has a sign said “ Don’t bring any alcohol to the island.

            They are support aneconomy activities for make more income to younger islanders; They make a souvenir to sale on the island.The island has many charm islets for driving ,fishing, squid fishing , and Kayaks.

            A tourists who come to this island ,please follow  community principle for safety. The most islanders are a coconut gardener, and Squid fisheries.

                KoSamed’s out of Para don phap ,Phaknum, Muang district about 2 km. You can go to the island  in morning and go back in the evening or take a tour packages service .
