            KohPhaNgan has a slogan said., “PhajunSuay, Num SaAhud, Hurd Sai Kao, Pa Ka rung peawpraw,  PhetKrangAoMuangKon Dee" ; It’s mean.,“Beautiful moon, Fresh water , Write sand , Charming of coral reef , Diamond middle of the bay, Good peoples city.”   If we say that words  aren’tknow where is it? Absolutely!  If we say“full moon party” A tourists may around the world will said., Oh! And should know is the KohPhaNgan island, Also with a great party at there. KohPhaNgan is a famous on full moon day to make a full moon party.    

         In generally,Abig city should be serious life but if you need to relax with a beautiful forest, write sand beach and peaceful place. You should come to KohPhaNgan. It’s also many activity to do such as driving, walking in a forest to watching a birds, and KohPhaNgan islanders lifestyle.

            KohPhaNgan district is a perfect nature, A Peoples all around the world know them by a  “ full moon party” name with a full of alcohols and narcotics also. In another part, They had never know lifestyle of  the islanders, which It should keep it into the future part.

            OnlyKohphaNgan has a ChakPha festival in a sea but another island has this festival on a land; Peoples of side a river or islanders will set that festival in a sea. It’s meanpulling of the Buddhist monks  and singing a song. This festival is very famous and so much fun activity for the island.

 -     Declared “World ChakPha in a sea” is a festival without  an alcohol on the end of Buddhist lent.The Public helthofKohPhaNgan district ask for this reason to a tourists;  please don’t drink any alcohol in this festival.

-     Don’t drinking any alcohol in a government service, school, temple, hospital, Travel service center, and pier area also.

          KohPhaNgan’s tourism is a beach and waterfall, well you can see the writing sign of King rama 5.The mostof famous beachesare a Lin beach, Mae Had beach, and  Ao Thong NaiPhan beach. Than Saded waterfall national park is very famous for this island also and KohphaNgan. It is still has 40 islets.

Getting to KohPhaNgan.

          1.Racha ferry company is a service ferry to KohPhaNgan  fromDonsuk pier at 10:00 am, 2:00 pm, and 6:00 pm. (180 Bath/person.)

          2. SongsuamRungrangcompany is a speed boat service for daily in 1 Time/Day at 8:00 am. Service price is about 250 Bath. The speed boat will take for 1 hr to the island.

          3. Sleep boat at Baan Don pier departure at 11:00 am will arrive at 06:00 am(6 hr) Service price is about 150 and 200 Bath.

          From KohSamui.

            Songsarmrungrang company is at least 3 ferries a daily at 9:00 am,11:00am,and 4:00 pm. It will take time for 1 hr to arrive the island. Service price is about 120 Bath. If you need more information ,Please contact KohSamui office. Tel: 077-42-0157
