Koh Yao Noi( YaoNoi Island )

             Koh Yao Noi and Koh Yao Yaiare a pair of large islands in the middle of PhangNga Province. It has a many official places and district offices of Koh Yao on the islands. They have many small island on them to totally be Koh Yao are 41 islands. They are very beautiful on a middle of Andaman sea. They are convenient travel to PhangNga and Puket also.It has also the most three amazing beaches to visit ,such as Ta Kao beach, Pasai Beach, and Aokian beach.

             A holy pond is very important place at Koh Yao Noi. It has a too much water when a sea tide level up to 1.5 m ,but no sea water when a level is low down and it’s turn to be normal water . People can drink it so every day, They will come to get it by a bottles. .some people give it for another one to be their souvenir. From that part, They built a pavilion for who waiting to get that water when the sea tide is low down.

             Koh Yao Noi has 7 villages. The most generally life,The peoples on this island are a native with homely life. They are very kind withatourists. In mostly,They are a mohammedanism and stay on a religious rules for their life, So every man have to go to mosque and do a worship of the Allah’s kindness five times for every day. A younger have to read the bible for every day on the evening. They are a fisheries, garden rubbers, and farmers.

On Koh Yao Noi has an ecotourism center for tourist can see a village life, cloths dyeing, batiks from nature color, and products from coconut shell with good scenery side a sea. Tourists can take a boat with your family to see a fisheries life, Lobster floating baskets, and do some activity as fishing, sea snake-head fishes, requin-tigres, and seabass.  At kohhong, KohLaling, and KohHundo, tourists  can do many activity such as a driving, keep swallow’s nest , also you can see a Morgan’s skeleton is 1,000 years old. You can keep some food from homestay restaurant with you to eat while you are traveling. At night on a market has a good Roti to service.

The principle for who visiting on Koh Yao Noi :

1.Please wearing suitable clothe for community culture.

2.Don’t drinking any alcohol and  keeping any a narcotic with you.

3.Don’t Throw a garbage out of a bin.

4.Don’t keep any shell, shore reef and no destroy an environment.

            Getting to Koh Yao Noi.

                 Long-tail boat ferries make  daily trips  to Koh Yao Noi from Bang Rong Pier on the east coast of Phuket, with daily departures form Puket at 11.00 am. A boat make daily trip from Kapi to Koh Yao Noi 2 times/day. 1 time /day from Port Ta Don, PhangNga.
